Requirements

Spayed or Neutered

For the safety of all of our dogs, every dog over the age of six months must be either spayed or neutered.

Vaccinations

All dogs must have evidence of current Distemper, Rabies and Bordatella (Kennel Cough) vaccinations.

Fecal Exam

All dogs must have a current fecal exam that is negative for parasites.

City License

All Chicago residents must have a current city dog license. They are available online at http://chicityclerk.com/dog-registration/, or at the Office of the Chicago City Clerk, City Hall, Room 107, 121 N. La Salle Street, 312-744-3647. The cost is $5.00 and you must have proof of your pet's current rabies vaccination and veterinarian documentation of dog's spay or neuter.

Temperament Assessment

Not all dogs are comfortable in a largely social environment. To ensure that all dogs play together safely, DoGone Fun! requires an initial visit with you and your dog. Our staff spends time getting to know your dog and talking to you about your dog's experiences and history. He/she is then gradually introduced to the play group while we carefully observe his/her reactions. Temperament assessments are $25 and can be done Monday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Reservations are a good idea, but we will attempt to serve any walk-ins with all requirements met, Monday through Saturday.
