Judit Arroyo


Judit is founder and training director of Canina Dog Training. Always an animal lover, Judit began her training career at the age of 17 and since has learned and been mentored by top competitive dog trainers. By working under their mentorship for many years Judit gained a solid foundation on canine communication, body language, learning theory and behavior modification with a specialty in aggression. She has developed skills in problem solving and training using positive reinforcement including classical, operant, and counter-conditioning.

Judit is an active member of her community. As a social justice advocate she has organized various community events, training seminars and is active in community outreach programs. She has volunteered for Chicago Canine Rescue (CCR), New Leash on Life (NLOL), Animal Care and Control and has organized fund-raisers for various rescue organizations. She currently volunteers for Sit Stay Read! as a program leader and training advisor for their therapy dog test.

Judit is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and is currently the dog training columnist for puplife.com. Writing specific topic-oriented articles has allowed Judit to reach and help owners and their dogs across the nation. Judit is committed to enhance the dog-owner relationship and bring training advice to the general public.
