Stacey Hawk


Stacey Hawk of Hawk City K-9 comes to Dogone Fun's Training Team with 15 years of training expertise, 12 years in the field of agility. She is Co-Founder, Chair of "Wiggly Field" Dog Park & Advisory Committee and sponsor of its pilot agility training program. Stacey is a proud committee member of the City of Chicago's Task Force on Companion Animal Welfare & Public Safety and is a Professional member of APDT. She is also Co-Founder, Co-Chair of the Dog Advisory Work Group (DAWG). Stacey has been given the honor from the Chicagoland Tails' Reader's Choice Awards "Best Agility Instructor" in 2003, 2005 and 2006.

Stacey travels the country competing with her own magnificent German Shepherds, competing in AKC, NADAC and CPE trials, showcasing her talent and passion for agility! Fascinated by animal behavior and the human-animal bond, Stacey trains, instructs and runs agility classes for numerous Chicago locations, from beginner to advanced/competition classes. Stacey is the Training Director for another facility's board and train and daycare programs. Two of her dogs, Bravo and Kira, had recurring roles on the Fox TV network's hit show "Prison Break" during the first two seasons. They even had speaking roles playing "the prison guard dogs".
